Three years ago, I volunteered at the MS Walk in Manhattan. Brooke is one of the organizers. I quickly found out she is one of the nicest and most generous people that I have had the pleasure of working with. We have worked together multiple times since then, and I am thankful every time.
Then I met her husband Brandon, and learned that this family had more than one kind, helpful, and good hearted people in it. His line of work requires him to be extremely selfless, courageous, and committed to the people in this community. I am greatly honored to know this family and be able to give back to them with my pictures.
You might not be able to tell by the pictures, but the freezing temperature and the blistering wind speed were such that nobody should have been doing anything outdoors at the time. Definitely not sitting in front of a camera in an open field for an hour. We decided to push forward. I feel a little guilty, but in the end, we got some great shots. Thankfully they are still talking to me to this day.
