Chase had lived and worked on this property for the last sixteen years. Along came Chelsea, and then three little ones. Just when they started throwing around the idea of moving into a bigger, better space as a family, they found a property they felt would be perfect. Before they knew it, the old place was sold, the new one purchased, and the big move was underway. The sale, purchase, and pictures all facilitated by local Realtor, Jessica Kramer. They were still understandably attached to the place where they started their family, and wanted to make some images that could encapsulate all of the memories permanently.
We met at the old house and got it covered from all angles. Every spot I chose had a story of the work that they had put into the place. I could tell that this likely wasn't the easiest decision they had ever made. I could see how much the kids loved exploring the large amount of land, and the multiple different levels of the property.
Then we headed off to the new house. Down a small gravel road into the country with no neighbors in sight. An even bigger house, with even more cool old outbuildings, and even more land for the kids to run around. And we did just that for a good portion of the time. They could get up to speeds that had mom a little worried a few times. We went right up to almost sunset, which they had a huge and completely unobstructed view of. I think it will be a perfect place for this fun family to grow.
